ASG 2006 election campaigns underway

It's official. The candidates for the upcoming ASG election have been announced. Junior Jay Schumacher runs unopposed for president, while sophomore Rishi Taparia is the only candidate vying for the role of executive vice president.

For a complete list of candidates and access to their campaign web sites, check out the ASG website, linked below. The general election will be held Tuesday April 11th from 8am to 8pm. If no candidate receives over 50 percent of the vote, a runoff election is scheduled for Thursday, April 13th. NNN wishes the best of luck to all those running in this year's race.
