Vigil for Virginia Tech

Events across NU's campus honored those slain at Virginia Tech.

Students at Sheil Catholic Center were asked to pray for the 32 victims as well as the deceased gunman. The prayer service also included a sermon on reaching out to students who are lonely and isolated.

This is just one of the ways the Northwestern community is honoring the victims of Monday's shootings. There will be a campuswide vigil held at The Rock Wednesday at 8 p.m.

On Monday's news report, we'll ask administrators how the ongoing changes in campus security here in Evanston will be affected by the events at Virginia Tech.
