Some consider it a taboo topic, but this week students around campus are talking about sex.
It's Sex Week at Northwestern. The five-day event was organized by students along with Health Education Department and is set to be an annual event. The celebration kicked off today with a sexual health fair and ends on Friday with a karma sutra musical.
Organizers say the goal is to create a comfortable climate to discuss sexuality, and also to educate students about sexual health.
"It's also part of a larger effort to generate a sexual dialogue issues, get people talking, get people feeling like sex health and sex as sort of a priority on this campus," NU Health Education Department Coordinator Katie Guilfoyle says.
