NU’s all female a capella group held their spring show over the weekend. The theme? Significant Others’ Next Top Model, playing off the hit CW show.

Sig O performed songs by artists such as The Coors, Mumford and Sons and Lady Gaga. In between performances the women competed in challenges and performed skits hoping to win the title of top model. There were various photo challenges, including most awkward teenage photo.

The group spent a lot of time brainstorming themes, but the chose theme originally meant something else.

“We had the initials SOTM for something else, and someone was like, ‘Oh, I have been thinking it was for Significant Others Next Top Model this whole time,’ and we just went with it. So it was a happy accident,” said Significant Others member Samantha Kostick.

At the end of the show Gwendolyn Straeffer was chosen the winner.
